Ashland University is set to hold its final band concert for the spring semester. The concert will showcase the Ashland Area Community Concert Band (AACCB) and the Ashland University Symphonic Band.

The concert theme for this year is “At Home and Abroad” and will feature music from different places and cultures.

The AACCB will be under the direction of Leonard Salvo and the university band will be directed by Joseph Lewis Jr.

Both bands will perform a different amount of compositions from American marches, folk and a fiesta. The concert will also feature the AU senior band members who have put their hardwork and dedication in to the band program.

According to the Ashland University news release, the AACCB will perform Folk Songs from Somerset and other pieces like Chorale, Shaker Dance and “Simple Gifts.”
