The Center for the Arts building at Ashland University is home to many different majors including music.  Consequently, anyone who walks the halls of CFA has a great chance of hearing all different kinds of music.

AU professor Scott Garlock teaches classes as well as conducting the jazz orchestra, made up of a diverse group of students and even other professors.

Deb Logan is a piano accompanist for student recitals and during student voice competitions. She also participates in the pit orchestra for musicals.

Garlock and Logan are active in the lives of their students because they have a passion both for music and for seeing their students succeed, which is a big part of  why CFA is such a musical building.
